Setting up alerts on your accounts helps you stay on top of your finances, so you know when bills are due, when payments have been made and when there's been activity on your account. Alerts are created easily within Online Banking and can be delivered by text, email and push notifications.

Standard Account Alerts and Notifications

The notifications you receive are up to you, tailored to the events you create. When you set up alerts, you'll receive updated email, push notification and/or SMS text messages1. You can create any of the following events: 

  • Periodic account balance notifications
  • Balance alerts
  • A loan payment is coming due / past due
  • A check has cleared
  • A certificate is maturing
  • And more options are available

Expanded Alerts and Notifications with Money Management

When you start using Money Management, you will have additional alerts and notifications available to you.

  • Alerts on transactions and balances of your external accounts
  • Large expense alerts on both internal and external accounts
  • Fee charged notifications
  • Exceeding your budget and Projected to exceed your budget

Getting Started

Setting up Alerts and Notifications in Online Banking

Standard Alerts

  • Log into Online Banking
  • Click on the Notifications link at the top of the page and then click Settings
  • Verify or change the email and phone numbers you want to use, which can change for each alert
  • Click Add an alert+ and select the type of alert you want to set up
  • Add a personal reminder message alert to any notification, or just a separate reminder if you need to remember something important

Money Management Alerts

  • Log into Online Banking
  • Under the Money Management display with the green and red bubbles, click on go to Money Management
  • In the upper-right part of Money Management, click on the Setting cog wheel
  • Verify the email and phone number to receive alerts
  • Select the notifications you wish to turn on or turn off
  • Edit the notifications to work with all accounts or just some of the accounts

 

That’s It. Once you have enabled those alerts and notifications, they will run until you change them.
