Eligibility and Documents Needed for Business Membership

To help you prepare to open a business membership, follow these guidelines.

 

The business owner or an official signor of the business must first be a member of Sharonview Federal Credit Union to open a business membership. Requirements may vary depending on business structure. View the personal eligibility requirements.

All account owners and authorized signers are required to present a government issued ID, and will also need to provide social security number and physical address and mailing address, if different.

Churches are not all organized in the same manner. Some are incorporated and others are unincorporated.

  • If the Church is incorporated use the Nonprofit Organization guide.
  • If unincorporated use the Unincorporated Association guide.
  • Proof of EIN (typically a SS-4 form)
  • Articles of Organization
  • Corporate Resolution
  • Social Security# of all signers
  • DOB (all signers)
  • Primary ID (all signers)
  • Proof of address (all signers)
  • Physical address of business
  • Account Authorization Card
  • Employee Identification Number E.I.N. (or Social Security #)
  • Trade or Fictitious Name Filing with the state
  • Primary ID
  • Proof of address
  • Physical address of the business
  • Account Authorization Card
  • If owner adds authorized signer, signer will also need SSN, proof of address, primary and secondary ID, DOB
  • Proof of EIN (typically a SS-4 form) (or SSN if one owner and no employees)
