Fort Mill, SC - Sharonview Federal Credit Union is excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Hughes as an information technology professional. Out of his 23 years of experience, Hughes previously worked with Sharonview for eight years as a network engineer and is excited to rejoin the team.
“We are excited to welcome Kevin back to the Sharonview team and see his vast experience enhance the workings of our information technology systems,” states Chris Harrington, Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Sharonview Federal Credit Union. “He has a proven record of improving processes, establishing best practices and implementing systems that will be an invaluable addition.”
Prior to joining the Sharonview team, Hughes was Associate Director of Systems Engineering at NTT Data Services where he managed a U.S.-based engineering team responsible for supporting over 700 servers across three data centers. Additionally, he has served in the roles of network specialist, life cycle management system engineer and network system administration manager.
“Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to hold numerous information technology roles and I am excited to bring that experience back to Sharonview. The room for growth, combined with Sharonview’s quality information technology services, makes me eager to take on this role,” adds Hughes.
In his new role, Hughes will be responsible for core platforms and working with all levels of leadership to manage, develop and design the architecture of the day-to-day IT core operation functions. Additionally, he will implement and maintain sound, secure and optimized solutions, and ensure that information technology systems support business needs and future goals.
