Sharonview Federal Credit Union, one of the nation’s top 200 credit unions, introduces David Brand to the team as Vice President of Consumer Lending. His more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry have led Brand to become the experienced leader that he is today.
“With exceptional expertise in his field, David is an exciting addition to our team,” states Chief Lending Officer Herb White. “His responsibilities will include implementing strategic direction, business plans and activities for our consumer lending business unit.”
His various roles throughout his career have included Mortgage Advisor, Loan Officer and Lending Sales Manager, serving most recently as Assistant Vice President of Loan Origination at Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in Poughkeepsie, New York.
“As I move into this role with the consumer lending department, I am eager to immerse myself into the Sharonview organization,” adds Brand. “With previous roles catering to commercial, residential and indirect vehicle loan production, I look forward to adapting my knowledge to serve our members and communities.”
In his new role, Brand will collaborate with department heads and the Executive Leadership Team to ensure the organization’s origination and underwriting strategies align properly with its loss mitigation and risk management controls.
