Rondel Cuyler has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to me. In her new role, Rondel will continue to manage Marketing, Communications and Member Engagement and will build and manage the Sharonview Cares Foundation and the new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Department. More information on DEI will be forthcoming.
Rondel joined Sharonview in 2015 as Vice President of Marketing, and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Member Engagement in May of 2019. Rondel is dedicated to making our credit union a household name in the communities we serve. As part of this important work, she directed the company-wide rebrand that debuted on December 8, 2016. She launched the Communications Department and transitioned the former Membership Development Department to the Membership Acquisition and Engagement Department to be more reflective of our focus on community relationships.
Prior to joining Sharonview, Rondel spent 25 years in the retail grocery industry. She held numerous roles in her time in grocery including Director of Advertising and Director of Public Relations.
Rondel attended North Carolina Central University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She is currently enrolled at Queens University where she is earning a master’s degree in Communications, and she serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross – Greater Carolinas Region.
Rondel’s strong leadership skills, expertise in building successful teams and her commitment to Sharonview’s brand and reputation make her well-suited for her new responsibilities. Please join us in extending congratulations to Rondel on her new role as Chief Marketing Officer.
